HupSix: Workouts Explained (6 Rounds in 30 Minutes)

Every class is built around one base step. Variations like twists, turns, and jumps all use that same rhythm. Each session has a theme, so workouts feel familiar—but always different. The six rounds build progressively and finish with a combo.

  • Round 1: Warm-Up: Learn or review the base step and add full-body moves.

  • Round 2: Twist & Turn: Add coordination challenges with twists or turns.

  • Round 3: Cardio Burner: Faster tempos with hop/jump variations.

  • Round 4: Triple-Step: Add two extra steps for more cardio and precision.

  • Round 5: First Combo: Combine moves into a short sequence at higher tempo.

  • Round 6: Final Combo: Put it all together in one long sequence at speed.

How We Teach It: Learn → Practice → Execute

Every round follows the same teaching format:

  • Learn: Your instructor breaks down the move and timing.

  • Practice (to clicks): Step to audio clicks at a slower tempo to lock in timing.

  • Execute (to music): Go full out to a song at a faster tempo.

This method keeps you engaged. You never have to learn and perform at the same time—so you move with more control and confidence. This also helps prevent injury.

Why We Teach This Way: The Click Method

Think of it like a metronome for your feet. The clicks give you a steady beat at a slower tempo so you can lock in the timing before the music starts. Because every move builds off the same base rhythm, adding a twist, hop, or turn feels natural. By the time the song kicks in, you’re already moving with confidence.

Powered by Music that Rocks

The music isn’t background—it’s the engine of the workout. Every track is built on a driving backbeat that matches the HupSix step. Expect original songs from musicians tied to The Rolling Stones, Wilson Pickett, Bob Seger, John Mellencamp, and more.

Class Structure: One Side, One Direction

Each class stays on one side (right or left) for the full 30 minutes. You’ll either face the bag or face away. This asymmetrical design accelerates body awareness and coordination while keeping the flow simple.

Why It’s Different

A treadmill gives you cardio. HupSix gives you cardio plus sharper coordination, quicker reactions, and better control—all in a compact, music-driven workout that never feels repetitive.

Solo or Social

Most home workout systems are built for one person. If you want to share, you either take turns or buy another expensive unit—and even then, you’re stuck moving at different paces.

HupSix is different. The pace stays the same for everyone, but the challenge meets you where you are. One person might be working harder on cardio, another on coordination—but both are improving the way they move while getting a serious workout. And because the gear is compact and affordable, many people buy more than one set and train side by side.

Don’t just do it solo. Grab a second set and make it social!
